what are weekends?

i don't know anymore.
my 2 days off are in the middle of the week. i work my hardest on the weekend, then go to bed early or get stoned & watch tv. i'm getting so bored with life.

i'm quite shopping productive however. i got a bike, some drawers for my studio, a papasan chair, and a new rvca fall jacket in the past week.

matt & i are trying to plan a costa rican winter vacation. i've never gone on vacation before so i really don't know how to go about it.

craigslist finds

got gypped out of the 2 other things i was supposed to get

took my injured pigeon, alexander, to the humane society via a long streetcar ride
good karma followed
found a set of 3 mid-century-looking black wood & chartreuse vinyl chairs in the garbage
need minor repairs to be really awesome

today i clean, then i party

wednesday is a day with no work
my intentions were to clean the entire house
no dice

slept in with matt
had an awful lunch at king's cafe
ebayed for 2 hours - bid on haeckel moth print, obey giant currency (lost)
bought a drafting table off craigslist & had it delivered
realized i had no money left
sorted the garbage in the backyard:
took the compost & poopy baby diapers out of the recycling
took the recycling out of the garbage
angelune came over, we talked about boys as my single friends always do
matt came home with money & beers & lemon weed
ate a brownie
went to dee's got carded by a 12year old
told him to fuck off, ate at kalendar
sex
cleaning
now, sleep

pray to the tattoo walk-in gods that i make money tomorrow

down to one job & five days a week
freedom?

i finally got my hands on some Giant books
they had them at Pages

also, wicked mole rat, right?


i bought a rug for the bedroom, but it's been too hot to clean in the house, so it's just on the sloppy floor

got a naked mole rat toy in the mail at work today

getting close to quitting time at the office, for good

going to nyc thursday, philly friday for audrey kawasaki art show
museums, art galleries, vegan fooderies
shepard fairey/david lachapelle exhibits
4 days, a few hundred dollars
nowhere to stay!
